Is it Illinois or Greece?

It’s still Sunday, so at least I haven’t missed posting the weekly quiz. This week’s quiz is from The Chicago Tribune.

Two governments with massive debts, crushing pension obligations and swirling political corruption are in crisis, their financial futures uncertain after efforts to deal with their problems have hit roadblocks. Take this quiz to see how well you can distinguish between the basket cases.

For each statement, click on the flag of the country the statement describes. Click here to take the quiz and see if you can beat my score of  9.5 out of 11. The correct answer for one question is both, but I’m not sure if that’s an option for the answer!

  1. I wasn’t able to comment from my phone or tablet and then forgot about the quiz until now. I actually was helped by my daily habit of reading (at least) the headline of each article in the world section of the Minneapolis paper.
