Terracotta Warriors

I went to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts today after work and saw this exhibit. I’d been planning on going for a while but was waiting until I received the membership card Jimmy got me for Christmas so I could get in free. It’s an amazing exhibit. Luckily it’s been extended for a week so I’ll probably be able to go again before it closes on the 27th.

The figures are lifesized and  seeing the 8 warriors and 2 horses included in this exhibit was amazing. It’s hard to imagine that there are thousands of them guarding the tomb of the 1st empire of China.

This video from the Smithsonian has much more information.
