The first photo is from the exhibit The Spectacular of Vernacular, the second photo is from Walker’s permanent collection. I took the photos with my cell phone (just explaining why they are sort of blurry). You can’t tell from the picture, but that shell is huge! (It’s made out of plaster.)
I really enjoyed The Spectacular of Vernacular. I was prohibited from taking any more pictures in that exhibit but I found a picture of Demonstrations of Sailor’s Valentines by Dario Robleto online.
