Happy Mustard Day!

National Mustard Day is celebrated annually at the Mount Horeb Mustard Museum on the first Saturday in August. Mount Horeb is close to Madison, Wisconsin. Free Oscar Mayer Jumbo Franks (it’s $10 if you want ketchup), 100’s of mustards to taste, music, games for kids…

There’s also a screenplay writing contest. You can read chapters from the winners of the 2006-2007 romance novel contest, Seeds of Passion: A Condiment Love That Borders on Obsession.

It’s the first Saturday of every August and it could be combined with a visit to the Dead Pals of Sam Sanfillippo.
